Sheryll & Daniel’s wedding at Paion in Big Sur

Oh boy, where do I start with Sheryll & Daniel? They are one funny couple. I couldn’t stop laughing all day!! Sheryll looked stunning in her designer wedding dress and shoes. We had a lot of fun shooting that day and I know Sheryll and Dan will make a great couple. It’s a greater experience if there’s a good connection between the photographer and the couple, because it really allows the couple to get out of their shell and just be themselves. So again, I know I’ve hammered this into your brains, but when you’re looking for a photographer, make sure you meet with them at least once in person, just to see how you interact with him. If you can totally be yourself around the photographer and have fun, I can almost guarantee you that you will love your photos.

Erleen & Rob’s E-session at Golden Gate Park in San Francisco

Before each engagement photo session, I take lots of time to prepare my couple on what my vision is for the shoot. I layout my thoughts, talk about what I will do and give them directions on how to “work” the camera. Erleen & Rob didn’t have to act natural, they were natural from the beginning. What really helps is that they have great chemistry. You can see that from the moment they held onto each other. Their kisses were passionate and their holds were tight. Their “look” for each other is genuine and sweet.
